Mark Oliverius brings a musical acumen to the studio that few in the industry can match.
Mark is a Yamaha Instruments Endorsed Nashville music producer/songwriter/keyboard player who has produced over 200 recording projects, and has spent a career touring with numerous big name recording artists for the last 32 years.
In addition to his role as Director of Music for many projects, Mark was also Lorrie Morgan’s music director for 18 years. He has had over 40 cuts as a songwriter including recordings by Mickey Gilley, Pam Tillis, Sawyer Brown, Trick Pony, Lorrie Morgan, Sammy Kershaw, Burns & Poe, T.G. Sheppard, Ethan Bortnick, Kelly Lang and he wrote a hit for Joe Diffie. His Production credits include Lorrie Morgan, Pam Tillis, Burns & Poe, The Dallas Cowboys, Ashton Shepherd, Rio Grande, Cowboy Troy, Ashlee Hewitt, P.J. Anderson, Katie Armiger and Veronica Ballestrini, etc.
Mark has expertise in Producing, Arranging, Writing, Programming, leading World Class Musicians in great studio environments and on stage; in addition to being an experienced Videographer and Film Editor.
Mark’s skillful interpretation and masterful arrangements give all projects he involves himself with a presence of a nationally produced commercial sound. With a keen eye and ear for rising talent and unique style, Mark is instrumental in discovering the up-and-coming artists that are a part of The Music of Nashville® cast.
For Mark, it all starts with passion. When Mark Oliverius, Bob Walker and Candace Lucchesi put their heads together about how to accomplish the creation of The Music of Nashville® A Magical Journey, they were determined to bring to fruition their dream of presenting a larger than life musical performance. Auditions took place in Nashville November of 2016, and the team hasn’t stopped since. Between Pre-production, photo shoots, video shoots, recording, rehearsals and series of shows, The Music of Nasville® has exploded with growth.
